Turf Care

Mowing

Estate and Field Management was originally centred around mowing and has, over the years, built up a comprehensive fleet of machines that offer fast and efficient solutions to most mowing situations. From pedestrian mowers for intricate private lawns, large Flail mowers for larger lawns, Meadows and Paddocks, and larger tractor-propelled machines for wide landscapes and Golf courses. All of which have options with or without collection of cuttings

Overseeding

The picture shows a Fendt 314 tractor with specialist wide low pressure tyres undertaking overseeding on a football pitch. The process of spreading new grass seed over an existing sward thickens the turf, improves resilience and fills in bare patches.

Spraying Services

We provide professional spraying services for effective weed control and targeted fertilisation, helping you maintain healthy, productive landscapes all year round.

Weed Control
Our weed spraying service targets invasive and unwanted vegetation in:
Amenity grasslands
Hard surfaces and pathways
Agricultural and paddock areas
Woodland and boundary zones

We use selective herbicides and licensed application methods to ensure safe, environmentally responsible treatment with long-lasting results.

Fertilising
We offer liquid and granular fertiliser application to promote strong, healthy growth in lawns, paddocks, and newly planted areas. Our service includes:
Soil and nutrient assessment
Custom fertiliser blends
Timed applications for seasonal effectiveness

All spraying is carried out by trained operators using calibrated equipment to ensure accuracy, compliance, and minimal environmental impact.

Scarifying

The picture shows a compact tracor on low pressure turf tyres scarifying a sports pitch. The scarifying removes moss and thatch (dead organic matter) to improve air, water and nutrient access to the soil, boosting grass health.

Out-front mowers

The picture shows a John Deere 1580 out-front flail mower. This combination is suitable for a wide range of grass cutting situations.
